Inspection preparations

Arrangements must be made with seller of property through your agent to properly prepare and or un-winterize the dwelling systems prior to inspection.

All power to appliances and/or systems must be energized (plugged in and with electrical breakers on), all system valves open, fuel supply on, and pilot lights lit. Systems not ready to be operated using "normal operating methods" cannot be inspected. Inspectors do not light pilot lights, plug appliances in, turn on electrical breakers or fuses, or operate plumbing valves per our "Standards of Practice", and for safety reasons. The home owner may have these systems turned off for a particular reason.
